Sin City Showdown was a special cross-promotional affair between New ERA of Wrestling and Empire Pro Wrestling. The event took place on February 10, 2010 (although results aired in late March) and was the main attraction for the all-day wrestling extravaganza between the two organizations that also featured the EPW Aggression 50 celebration and New ERA Destrucity II pay per view. Originally promoted as between Empire Pro Wrestling and WFW:NE, the event was changed to "Empire Pro and New ERA present" when the WFW:NE disintegrated. This was the second time the organizations (EPW and New ERA) have put on a joint wrestling show, the first being WrestleSTOCK '07. Unlike WrestleSTOCK, however, the two leagues went head-to-head during the pay per view.
