  • The Deptford Park Estate is a small, early postwar social housing estate overlooking Evelyn Street in the Deptford area of Lewisham, London. The estate consists of two brick blocks which began construction in 1948 and were finished in 1950. Both blocks are five storeys in height including their Mansard roofs. They benefit from large, single glazed, sash windows and are now privately owned. The largest of the blocks, Hazelwood House, contains 90 flats, whereas Pomona House contains 12 flats. The overall plan is roughly symmetrical with Hazelwood House having a U-shaped footprint, enclosing Pomona House on three sides. There is a plaque above the arched entrance through Pomona House with the letters 'LCC', standing for London County Council who commissioned and built the estate.
