Victor Engquist is a United States Marine who was trapped on Owen Island with a small group of people after a huge storm hit the island. He served two tours abroad and couldn't cope with the possibility of going back. So he came to Owen Island to take a boat and escape to Canada but was trapped there when the storm hit the island. He was one of the people suspected by Agent Alan Fahey and Reese to be the serial killer that they were pursuing. The real serial killer used Dennis' knife to kill Deputy Erica Schmidt to try and frame him. But he was later proved innocent.
