At least one Yeren is seen in the Mountain Ruins of the Beasts of the Fifth Sun video game, having been drawn to the area by the energy of a mysterious totem found there. The Yeren is found in rocky alcoves, and is typically seen standing, roaring, and beating its chest. Upon sensing danger, it retreats with a loping motion and leaps into the air to cling onto the side of the cliffs. If Zak uses his powers to communicate with it, it slams the ground to create a shockwave that damages nearby enemies.
