Jeryn "Jeri" Hogarth is a no-nonsense and resourceful lawyer who started her legal career as an intern for Rand Enterprises. After the supposed deaths of the Rand Family, she eventually found herself as a lawyer for Hogarth, Chao and Benowitz. While running her own firm, she began to hire Jessica Jones to help her resolve cases in her favor. While taking on the case of the suspected murderer Hope Shlottman, Hogarth then became involved in the hunt for Kilgrave which soon resulted in Hogarth's personal and professional life crumbling. As a result of her dealings with Jones and Kilgrave, Hogarth decided to hire Foggy Nelson to deal with any cases involving vigilantes.
