Examples of such rulers were Thranduil, the King of the Woodland Realm in Northern Mirkwood, Amdír and his son, Amroth, who ruled over Lothlórien, and Celeborn, who too ruled over Lothlórien with his wife Galadriel who was a Ñoldor elf. Silvan Elves were considered to be less wise than other Eldar, but were more wise than men.
