| - Proposal #1. It gives a nice overhead view of the burnt part of the forest as well as the non-burnt part. For me, the cloud isn't actually that distracting. I agree that #2 would be better for a text image; however, #3 in my opinion is just too dark and it's hard to make out any of the scorched trees without looking really closely at the image. 12:04, September 25, 2012 (UTC) I prefer image number 1 because it shows how the scorched forest has marred the land. 23:02, September 28, 2012 (UTC)

It provides a clear, well-lit overhead view and it is a good infobox image overall. 12:26, September 25, 2012 (UTC) It's scorched forest, so #2 will be an accurate representative of the scorched forest. #2!! 13:58, September 25, 2012 (UTC)EDIT: Number 3, is not implies the scorched side of the forest, because people will see in a sight and think the forest is the below one. 12:39, September 26, 2012 (UTC) I like 2 per above. It shows the forest well and has excellent lighting. 1 however would also be a good photo also but I throw my support to 2. 14:10, September 25, 2012 (UTC) I prefer proposal #2; it clearly depicts the ruins of the forest as a result of the fire. I wouldn't mind an overhead image, as provided in #1; however, my concern with #1 is the cloud partially obscuring the forest. And honestly, if simply shown that image without any additional knowledge of its condition, I wouldn't have caught on right away that it had been burned down; thus, I don't feel it's the clearest representation of the forest. 18:20, September 25, 2012 (UTC) prefer proposal three per everyone above, since it actually depicts "scorched forest". the first image definitely needs to change I've decided to go with proposal one for reasons stated by Lostris. Generally, overhead bird views are preferred over ground level shots for location infobox images. 18:33, September 26, 2012 (UTC) I am going to support number one as well, as per Lostris. Number two is up so close and is at "ant vision" I guess you could say. It does however, give a nice representation of scorched. But what it doesn't do, is show the whole forest. That could be one measely part for all we know. I prefer one where it shows what, and how much damage was actually done to the location. As for number three, I find it to be too dark. Number one, I believe, is the best choice. 20:53, September 26, 2012 (UTC) No offense, but number 1, giving a view of the whole forest, didn't notify us about what the forest is. It's scorched. If you're looking for Scorched forest, #2 will gives us a better view.... Argument allowed. 09:18, September 28, 2012 (UTC) I prefer image number 1 because it shows how the scorched forest has marred the land. 23:02, September 28, 2012 (UTC)
