Ojai was a BFF-1 bulk freighter used by the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. The Ojai was sent, along with the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Maximus to rendezvous with the stolen freighter Phoenix in a quiet area, away from Imperial interests in order to recover some stolen communications satellites. It arrived just as Keyan Farlander finished clearing the area of TIE starfighters launched during a surprise attack by the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Intrepid. The Intrepid fled shortly after the Maximus arrived and the Ojai docked with the Phoenix to recover the satellites.

  • Ojai was a BFF-1 bulk freighter used by the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. Later, it met with CR90 corvette Jeffrey in the Cron Drift to deliver the satellites. An Imperial force consisting of four Delta-class DX-9 stormtrooper transports, escorted by Assault Gunboats attacked the rendezvous but were defeated by X-wings flown by Farlander and Puck Naeco, allowing the transfer to take place. The Jeffrey then replaced several Imperial satellites with the Rebel ones to monitor Imperial communications and report to listening post AX-235. The satellites proved essential in discovering the Death Star I project.
