Camille Muffat (28 October 1989 – 9 March 2015) was a French swimmer and gold medal winner in the 400 m freestyle at London 2012. She died in a helicopter crash in Argentina that also killed Olympic boxer Alexis Vastine and sailor Florence Arthaud, whilst filming the reality TV show "Dropped". The disaster occurred just eight months after Muffat had retired from swimming in July 2014, aged 24.
