Detective Sergeant Geoff Daly was a police officer in the long running ITV drama The Bill. He arrived at Sun Hill in June 1996 and had a stint of over 4 years at Sun Hill until his final departure in October 2000. After the Don Beech Scandal Daly was transferred in a clean wipeout of the original CID squad. Ironically DS Daly was the main person behind uncovering the corruption of DS Don Beech. Due to DS Daly being a member of CID he did not have a callsign and was simply refered to as "DS Daly" in radio communications.
