Dyaus is a the Hindu god of the sky. He is married to Prithvi and is father of Parjanya, Ushas and Ratri by her. His name is related to the Greek Zeus and Roman Jupiter (Zeus Pater) and, by extension, Germano-Norse Teiwaz/Tyr. He is also known as Dyaus Pitar (Father Sky).
