The Belial family was a family of nobles that resided on the planet of Alderaan during the period known as the Alsakan Crisis. Christopher Belial migrated from Coruscant to Alderaan in 13,400 BBY in an attempt to flee from his gambling debts. Once there, he became a senator and helped usurp power from the Theron family. This paved the way for the Belials to become nobles themselves. To help extend his family line, he married the daughter of the governor.

Christopher Belial migrated from Coruscant to Alderaan in 13,400 BBY in an attempt to flee from his gambling debts. Once there, he became a senator and helped usurp power from the Theron family. This paved the way for the Belials to become nobles themselves. To help extend his family line, he married the daughter of the governor. Their linage carried on, each generation becoming more corrupt than the previous one. Later in the linage it was not uncommon for family members to practice in embezzlement and not listen to the people. One such example of where the embezzlement was truly noticeable but not stoppable was in the creation of the Belial family palace. With all the corruption and lack of moral fiber, the vision of Christopher Belial eventually was ruined. The Belial family ended in 13,000 when the father of Casper Gunvor died, and since Casper had changed his name the linage had finally died out.
