  • Rakshasas are half-human and half-cat, and were intended to act as hunters and bodyguards for the wizards. Due to their size, skills, and character, they soon became the officers of beastmen armies. As experienced sword fighters with fast reflexes, wielding enchanted weapons, they are considered one of the most dangerous hand-to-hand fighting units in Ashan. While most of the beastmen joined Kunyak and his orcs in their rebellion in 467 YSD, fighting against their former masters, the rakshasa chose to stay loyal. This was mainly due to having more privileges, and being treated with more respect, than the other beastmen.
