Congratuliatons was the Icelandic entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens performed by Silvia Night. The song generated considerable controversy at the Contest. The lyrics are essentially in praise of the wisdom of the Icelandic voters in selecting Silvía to represent them in the first place. The original studio version contained curse words, but due to the rules of the contest regarding the use of profanity, several words had to be changed.
