| - __NOWYSIWYG__ Okay, so I know I'm guilty of this too, but I think we need to start requiring references and original script for translations. Two examples of why: 1.
* For the longest time, we had this translation of kai meaning quarrel in Bengali. Now, I could not find a source for that so I removed it, but I presume at some point somebody had a source for it. I looked as far as I could, with my limited knowledge of Bengali (which is supremely limited) but because I could not find a source, I removed it. 2.
* This translation of Amon in Urdu was just added. Now I have very limited Urdu experience (can speak Hindi, which is mutually intelligible with Urdu) but from what I can tell Aman translates to peace, not protection.

Now I have very limited Urdu experience (can speak Hindi, which is mutually intelligible with Urdu) but from what I can tell Aman translates to peace, not protection. If the first example had a dictionary reference, I would have been able to keep that translation. With the second, if the original Urdu script was also included, much the way we do with Chinese translations, it can be easily verified but right now it's the word of one potential speaker versus another (I don't know M82a1t's level of experience with Urdu/Hindustani). I think by requiring references and also by requiring the original script to be added via the {{Chinese<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>}} template, it'll make sure that we have the most accurate translations. I personally am more than willing to go through and source every translation I have added, is this agreeable? – Srijay K • TechFilmer 17:26, November 26, 2017 (UTC) Sounds good to me.
