- Dragon Tooth is a consumable item introduced in the Unearthed Arcana: Snips of Scales and Dragon Tails article by Alana Joli Abbott and Robert J. Schwalb in Dragon #429. Rather than being flavoured as a generic dragon tooth (as the name may suggest), these are flavoured as being teeth either from ancient dragons revered by their deities, or teeth from dragons who protected holy sites.[Dr429:24]
- Dragon Teeth are used for most higher (6-10) level Spells and alchemy, such as Resurrection, Full Heal, Full Detoxify, Paralyze Field, Poison Field and Provocation. Dragon Teeth can be found on Bracken, Dracos, and Dragons. Bracken will drop one on occasion, however they are much more common on Dracos and Dragons. Dragon Teeth are by far the rarest reagent, therefore they cost around 1000 gold pieces each. You can also trade 20 Skulls at the Lerilin potion shop for a Dragon Tooth and 50 experience points (the 200 skulls that yield the 10 dragon teeth required for the Persian Rug quest will yield 500 experience plus the 200 experience gained for the rug). - Effect: Area burst 2 within 10. Six dragon tooth warriors appear in unoccupied spaces in the area. If you succeed on a DC 25 Arcana check, the dragon tooth warriors become allies to you and your allies, and you decide how they act and move on each of their turns. On a failure, the dragon tooth warriors become enemies to all creatures present in the encounter, and although each warrior is most likely to attack the creature nearest it, the DM controls the warriors.

As such, hunting Skeletons is the easiest way to get dragon teeth (though probably not the fastest).
