She appeared in The Golden Girls Season 3 episode "Mother's Day" as Elizabeth "Big Momma Hollingsworth, Blanche's mother, in a guest appearance. In 1956–1957, Kleeb guest-starred on CBS's Hey, Jeannie!, starring Jeannie Carson. In the 1960–61 television season, Kleeb appeared as Miss Claridge, a legal secretary, on the ABC-TV sitcom Harrigan and Son, starring Pat O'Brien and Roger Perry. She appeared in episodes of, among other television shows, Dennis the Menace, I Love Lucy, Pete and Gladys, Hennesey, and Get Smart, as well as in small film roles in The Manchurian Candidate, and Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte. She also appeared in a 1953 Episode of Dragnet starring Jack Webb. Helen Kleeb also appeared on many radio drama shows, some now playing on XM Satellite Radio. Helen married Elmer Garrison in 1959. [1]. Helen died in 2003, nine days before her 97th birthday, in Los Angeles. She reportedby left no known survivors other than her second husband, Garrison, although many sources said she has a son from her first marriage to John Gerard Pendergast, which was from 1937 to 1950.
