| - Corpse Worms are squirming eel-like creatures that emerge in a flood from a ruptured Grotesque. They are not powerful, but are disgusting in their fecundity and must be stomped out. The three pests count as single monster. In Act II, they are replaced by Electric Eels.
- Corpse Worms (死体ワーム Shitai wāmu) are a unique breed of large worm. Originally breed in the soft and corpse filled plains of Ohakagakure the Corpse Worms were used by the Ohaka Clan as their signature summons. After the destruction of Ohakagakure, the corpse worms mostly died out. Their race was saved from extinction by Akurei Ohaka who is the only remaining person capable of controlling these creatures. Corpse Worms are roughly 20 feet in length from head to tail. A hard bone shell covers the front, which covers the mouth. Inside the mouth are two large tongues, which are barbed in order to better drag in victims. The worm's digestive system robs the victim of oxygen, knocking them unconscious while they are digested alive. Yet there is a second stomach that is used to store large items, and even humans. Coffins were often carried inside these large worms, making them useful for carrying dead bodies from battlefields back to their summoner. Corpse Worms are also used to relay information across vast distances, as they are exceptionally fast when underground. Using a series of scales to push themselves through the earth at accelerated paces, they are useful scouts.
