  • The Pitts Farm Estate is a housing estate centred around Pitts Farm Road to the north of the Chester Road in Erdington, north Birmingham. The estate was built on former farmland on Erdington's boundary with Sutton Coldfield. It is bordered to the south by Chester Road, to the east by Pype Hayes Park, to the north by Penns Primary School and to the west by interwar period housing. Plans for the estate were approved in 1962 in two parts. Construction was started in 1963 by Stubbings and was completed in 1965. The estate is predominantly lowrise, fronting on to cul-de-sacs. A single 9 storey tower block named Little Hill House was constructed in 1965 as the final building on the estate.
