Fritz Crisler was the U-M head coach from 1938-47, and he led U-M to a total of 71 wins in the 10 years he was head coach. Those wins made him the coach with the fourth most wins in U-M football history behind Fielding Yost, Bo Schembechler, and Lloyd Carr, respectively. Under his leadership, U-M won 80.5% of their games. The basketball court at U-M , Crisler Arena, is named after him.
