That year, he was slain by Gorkon, son of Toq, who later formed the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance, launching a joint invasion of the Terran Republic. With Supreme Legate Renar of the Cardassian Union, Gorkon led the Alliance assault at the fall of Earth in 2295, executing Consul Spock on the floor of the Common Forum in the former imperial palace in Okinawa, Japan.
