Dave Dornseif (Born August 12, 1956, in Edina, Minnesota) is a retired American defenceman. Dornseif played at Providence College from 1974 to 1978. He was chosen 124th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 1976 NHL Amateur Draft and 40th overall by the Indianapolis Racers in the 1976 WHA Amateur Draft. Dornseif went on to play 4 games in the World Hockey Association with the Racers (1977-78) and Cincinnati Stingers (1978-79), scoring one assist.
