  • Villaseñor began his career in the industry as a driver for television producer Don Fedderson in the 1950s. Villaseñor worked in the editorial department at Don Fedderson productions for some ten years, after which Fedderson offered him a position as an assistant editor. As an assistant editor at Don Fedderson Productions, Villaseñor worked on such television series as Family Affair (which starred Brian Keith) and My Three Sons as a Sound Editor. Villaseñor later moved to feature films. In the 1970s, he worked as an assistant to editor Byron "Buzz" Brandt on such films as Across 110th Street (1972) and Breakheart Pass (1975). The latter featured David Huddleston, Jill Ireland, Roy Jenson, and Ed Lauter in the cast, and was scored by Jerry Goldsmith.
