Meda of Odessos was a Thracian Princess and daughter of the Getae king, Cothelas who died in 336 BC and married Philip II of Macedon. She married him after Olympias. One historian states that Meda might of committed suicide after Philip had passed so that she could follow him to the Ades while the people of Macedonia were not used to honors of their king and she was buried with him.
