He was thought dead by Nathaniel and Novus Kamino Prime, but no, the slippery Nat-ahn Mandrex had placed a double, just in case Nathan should defeat him. Dal-tone still lived and he was being trained by the scant followers of the deceased Nat-ahn to assassinate Nathan.
