Tragglo Spearback was the eldest son of the seven children of Rufftip and Gurgan Spearback, the grandfather of Drogg Spearback and great-great-grandfather of Sister Floburt and Brother Egburt. Tragglo succeeded his father as leader of the Waterhogs, and later became one of Redwall Abbey's Cellarmasters. In Marlfox, he often led a gang of Dibbuns around teasing Florian Dugglewoof Wilffachop. He was wounded in the first battle between the Redwallers and the Marlfoxes by a piece of metal from a slingshot.
