Hephaistos or Ptah is a Diadochian god in the Ancient Diadochian religion and mythology. Hephaistos is the God of fire, craftsmen, metalworking, stone masonry, forges, sculptors, artisans, blacksmiths, and volcanos. In Diadochian mythology, Hephaistos was the son of Jupiter. As a smithing god, Hephaistos made all the weapons of the gods, and was worshipped in the manufacturing and industrial centers of Diadochia, particularly Athenais.
