His first full season as a professional saw him loaned out to Conference North side Gloucester City, where he impressed enough for the initial month-long deal to be extended for a second month. Following his return to Bristol he was included amongst the Rovers substitutes twelve times before the end of the campaign, and was brought on in five of those matches. His full debut for the club came in the first game of the 2013–14 season, a 2–1 defeat to Exeter City, when he started up front alongside David Clarkson.
