- Mekgineer Thermaplugg's obsession for explosives shows, for whenever he is threatened, the many bomb machines start up and begin producing explosive protectors, the Bom Bots or Walking Bombs, for their master. Be wary of these machines, and deactivate them as soon as Thermaplugg starts them up with a bolt of electricity from his Mechanical Battle-Mount that he is never without. Be sure to close these machines by pressing the buttons located on the sides immediately.
- Walking Bomb (ウォーキングボム Wōkingu Bomu?) is an enemy in Mega Man 3 that looks like a walking hand grenade. It is a highly modified version of the Killer Bomb that are now able to walk and jump obstacles, but can no longer fly. They only take one shot to kill, but they explode after they are shot, so the player has to keep a decent amount of distance to avoid the explosion. They appear in Shadow Man's stage from Mega Man 3 and Mega Man III.
