| - "Ah, come on, Captain," said I. "You've been saying that every single time we found any other outpost. It's almost three hundred times now!" "Negative," said Zack. And Captain immediately nodded. "Two droids guard the front door. Four turrets along the rooftop. North, east, south, west," I reported. "There's more guards along the sides. Five of 'em, I reckon," added Leo. "Beam," called Captain. "Mind taking care of that?" "With pleasure. Lights out, buckethead." He shot the droid on the rooftop and took out the spotlight. "Men down! Men down!" "Keep your heads down!" "Arghh! My arm!" "Ah, hell."

We moved closer to the outpost up the hillside. The droids did not seem to notice our presence. Surely the tall grass and the thick fog helped cover us. "Fine. Kiddo, you come with me. Leo, you stay down here and keep watch. Zack, Beam, Afro, Kreese, Yuveriin, Nineteen, move around the hillside and look for any other door. If you found one, storm in and we'll gather in the middle. If not, just stay there until I give you an all-clear. Let's go!" Captain slowly crawled up the hill. Rookie and I followed him while the rest of them moved into positions. He aimed his blaster at one of the guard droids and took it out. I shot the other one. The four of us were on our feet now, slowly crouching towards the door. Out of the blue, eight more droids emerged from the tall grass near the front door! A firefight instantly broke out, and quickly turned fierce. All four of us jumped back into the grass for cover. They got us pinned down. A few other troopers came back to assist us. But some stray shots quickly killed Eckert and Yaven. "Men down! Men down!" "Keep your heads down!" "Arghh! My arm!" And suddenly, the droids fell quick, one by one. When the atmosphere calmed down, I turned to find Leo standing proud, his blaster smoking. "Nice shots, Leo," said Bocky. "Ah, don't mention it," Leo replied. "Alright," Captain cut through, "back into positions, lads!" "Wait!" Nineteen called. "My arm. I think it's broken." "Let me see that," said Yuveriin. "Yep. Those droids got you hard back there. Tendons and nerves ripped off." "Ah, hell." We proceeded to our organized positions. Yuveriin took Nineteen to Leo's port to watch over him. And then it became quiet again. The fog began swirling towards the front door.
