Ted was a construction worker who was hired by Amanda Woodward to be the apartment complex manager. However, Ted began displaying odd tendencies and soon became a root of concern for the tenants. First, he was found creeping around in the bedroom of Alison Parker, who complained to Amanda. Later, he was seen watching Amanda shower through a peephole. Then, he was caught by Jake Hanson in Amanda's apartment claiming to fix a stuck window. As he was crawling around in his bedroom, he made noises that were heard by Amanda and Jo Reynolds, but he hid when they came to investigate.

First, he was found creeping around in the bedroom of Alison Parker, who complained to Amanda. Later, he was seen watching Amanda shower through a peephole. Then, he was caught by Jake Hanson in Amanda's apartment claiming to fix a stuck window. After Jake asked Amanda about it, she fired Ted and forced him to hand over the keys while Jake stood outside and waited for him to leave. However, he would later sneak back into his apartment and watch Jake and Amanda have sex in the shower through the peephole. As he was crawling around in his bedroom, he made noises that were heard by Amanda and Jo Reynolds, but he hid when they came to investigate. Later, Jo saw a flashlight being shined around the empty apartment before Ted creeped into Amanda's apartment. Jo and Amanda caught him trying to escape and tied him up and threatened him. After scaring him with the knife, Amanda then let Jo called the police to pick him up.
