  • Stupidites is a human character who appears in the cartoon show episode "Trojan Smurfs". He is a servant of Petula's father whose job is to keep his little daughter happy. He works alongside his partner Imbecilus, who was originally made the head babysitter. In the episode, her servant Stupidites was on the beach that the timelost Smurfs arrived on, picking up the toys that Petula threw out the window, when he picked up the jack-in-the-box that Smurfette was hiding in to avoid being seen by a human. Petula discovered Smurfette in the jack-in-the-box and believed that she was a new doll, giving her the name of Pretty Peti. She charged Stupidites, who was made the new head babysitter over Imbecilus, with watching over her new doll while she takes her nap to make sure her doll doesn't escape or else he will be fired. Imbecilus, eager to get his old job back, sneaked into Petula's bedroom while she was sleeping and planned to take Smurfette away somewhere to make it look like Stupidites failed in his job to watch over the new doll. However, Imbecilus inadvertently caused Petula to wake up from her nap when she went out on the window ledge to go after Smurfette, stepping on Stupidites' face and causing him to knock over the vase in the bedroom. Petula demanded for the return of her doll, and when Imbecilus got Smurfette only to find the window ledge crumbling under him, he tossed Smurfette over to Stupidites who then returned her to Petula, keeping his own job safe in the process. A little later on, Imbecilus brought Petula another new toy -- a rocking horse that would entertain her. Petula loved the rocking horse, but she was unaware that it was used by the Smurfs in order to rescue Smurfette from her until she was awakened by her music box and saw that more blue dolls were stealing hers away. She called for her servants to stop the dolls from escaping, but the Smurfs had turned the rocking horse into a rolling horse equipped with some weapons to help them escape, such as a catapult that fired olives at the servants. When Stupidites and Imbecilus failed to stop the Smurfs from escaping, Petula's father had them both working in the olive pits.
