The mist warrior is a unique creature in Might and Magic II: Gates to Another World. He appears in the mountains in area A2, and (indirectly) teaches the player's party the Dancing Sword spell when he is defeated. In some ports of the game, such as the Mega Drive version, the mist warrior seems to cast the Dancing Sword very rarely if ever at all. This thus limits him to just being able to attack one party member at a time, which means with patience he can be defeated even with quite low level parties if they have at least two members that can heal fallen comrades.

abstract
  • The mist warrior is a unique creature in Might and Magic II: Gates to Another World. He appears in the mountains in area A2, and (indirectly) teaches the player's party the Dancing Sword spell when he is defeated. The mist warrior has quite high attack power on par with other mid-game level monsters, usually dealing about 150-200 points of damage to his opponents, and appears to be immune to all elements including acid. His most dangerous trait is his ability to cast Dancing Sword, which deals around 200 damage to four party members at once, which makes him very difficult for low leveled parties to defeat. Unless the player's party has members that are tough enough to survive the spell and strong enough to defeat the mist warrior in one or two rounds, means of healing all party members at once such as the Moon Ray spell are essential.
