Originally from Teeside, Lee Vasey has been a mainstay of the Norwich music scene for the last 25 years, principally now as the head of the Lee Vasey Big Band which has been circulating since about 1992 immensely popular for functions and at events with a wide repetoire of cover versions spanning a variety of eras, He also performs smaller sets with a cut down band primarily at The Brickmakers, but also at venues all around East Anglia and also does solo Jam sessions, his main style these days is blues. He has also played most Thursdays at the Eaton Cottage pub (since 1987). His early career was slightly more focussed on Prog rock playing in a three piece. He is the cousin of Royston Vasey (Roy Chubby Brown).
