Tommy Oliver was originally the evil Green Ranger, the mind-controlled minion of Rita Repulsa and enemy of the Power Rangers. Imbued with the powers of the Dragon, Green Ranger was a fearsome foe. However when Red Ranger managed to break Tommy free from the mind control, the Green Ranger switched sides and became the sixth member of the Power Rangers.
