  • Co-Kura Strappa is a cautious and mild-mannered Peacekeeper scientist assigned to Scorpius' wormhole project. Originally working under Project Leader Drillic, Strappa becomes the de facto head of the project after Drillic's execution by Scorpius. During that time, he also works closely with fellow scientist Linfer. In spite of their disagreements, Strappa appreciates working with Linfer and mourns her departure after she deserts the Peacekeepers and eventually died. Strappa is often nervous and easily intimidated around his superiors, particularly Scorpius, likely fearing retribution that often follows failure for Peacekeepers under Scorpius' command. A true scientist, Strappa is most excited by the discoveries and new ground reached in this research of wormholes. He cares little for the practical purposes of wormholes or the possibility of harnessing them as weapons. When John Crichton comes to Scorpius' command carrier to aid them in their wormhole research, Strappa is quite enthusiastic, eager to work with the man who has such a repository of useful information. He works closely with Crichton, unaware that the human is in actuality plotting to destroy Scorpius' carrier and the wormhole project along with it. When Crichton puts his final plan into action and the carrier crumbles to its slow death, Strappa tries to save the precious research, unwilling to let such a ground breaking scientific discovery to be lost. Crichton, however, convinces Strappa that the research could be used to terrible ends. Strappa realizes that Crichton speaks the truth. He also points out that like Crichton he himself has a good deal of wormhole knowledge. To prevent Scorpius from getting the information he has learned, Strappa has Crichton put him into the Aurora Chair, forcibly extracting the knowledge permanently from his mind. His fate following this is unknown.
