| - Jroven is a well developed planet in the Nymean Colony Regions. Despite not being a colony, many planets in the area were made into colonies by other Nymean planets. The planet is home to a reptilian species also by the name Jroven. Before joining the Ascendancy in late 46 ABY, Jroven was the center of a small but thriving community all populated by Jroven. They developed four colonies: Pezstro, Vrathi, Taeros, and Easaet. They were aware of the Nulvarl Empire and later the early Nymean Ascendancy, but refrained from joining until they were forced to by the threat of the Horothrium Hegemony.

In 44 ABY, Easaet was attacked by the Horothrium. The defenses were overwhelmed in just a few minutes and the small army on the surface was crushed. Communications were disrupted before help could be summoned. After the loss of thousands of the colonists, a Jroven fleet managed to push back the small Horothrium garrison long enough to evacuate the planet. For the next two years, the Horothrium were occupied with another series of Vagaari attacks and did not expand into Jroven territory. When the Nymeans and Chiss waged war on the Vagaari, the threat they once presented to the Horothrium was removed and they began probing Jroven defenses around Vrathi and Taeros. Once the size of the Hegemony was perceived, the Jroven knew that they had no chance against the invaders alone. In the middle of 46 ABY, they sent a delegation to Areltsi to negotiate entrance of their planets into the Ascendancy. After two months of negotiations, they were admitted and have served in the Ascendancy since. During the Horothrium War, the Horothrium raided several areas of Jroven space, but were repulsed every time. The Jroven have contributed large numbers of troops to the war effort and Jroven itself is on the ballot for admittance into the Greater House of the Council of El'iadar in the elections to be held on 6/1/57.
