| - Harmonic dust is used to make crystal tools and equipment by Crystal Singing. To make the items you need either a crystal weapon seed, crystal armour seed, or crystal tool seed along with a certain amount of harmonic dust. Use the singing bowl in the Ithell Clan district and sing the item that you want, which gives Smithing experience equal to the amount of dust used. You can also pay Eluned or Ilfeen 1,000,000 coins to make any crystal item for you (except the pickaxe and hatchet).
- Harmonic dust can be used to make crystal tools and equipment by Crystal Singing, which also requires a crystal weapon seed, crystal armour seed, crystal tool seed or an uncharged crystal teleport seed. Use the singing bowl in the Ithell Clan district and sing the desired item, granting Smithing experience. Alternatively, some of the seeds can be sung into equipment by paying Eluned or Ilfeen with coins instead.

You can also pay Eluned or Ilfeen 1,000,000 coins to make any crystal item for you (except the pickaxe and hatchet). If you give 4,000 harmonic dust to Lady Ithell, she can convert a dragon hatchet or dragon pickaxe to a crystal hatchet or crystal pickaxe, respectively. The dragon items can be on your toolbelt, and an imcando pickaxe also works, although it will lose its special effect. With 80 experience for each dust every third second the experience rate of playing the harp is a maximum of 96,000 per hour in Crafting. This can however be boosted with artisan's outfit to boost the experience rates to just over 100,000 experience per hour. With tuning and a possibility to not get any dust the actual experience gain each hour is considerably lower (around 60,000 per hour at level 90). You also get 50 experience in Construction for each 10% the harp is out of tune. Note that the harp will give significantly less dust when it is 50% or more out of tune. When the Voice of Seren is illuminating the Ithell district each dust gives 96 experience and tuning the harp gives 60 experience per 10% out of tune. While the Voice is active, harps also go out of tune at a much lower rate, meaning you will almost always gain more harmonic dust per hour while it is active. This item is not to be confused with the harmony dust gathered from Prifddinas Waterfall Fishing, as the two different types of dust cannot be used interchangeably.

This is done by talking to Lady Ithell, and works even if the dragon items are on the tool belt. Augmented dragon items must be unaugmented first. Obtaining the dust via harps grants 80 Crafting experience (96 experience when the Voice of Seren is on the Ithell district) every three seconds, granting up to 96,000 experience per hour. This can be boosted to over 100,000 experience per hour by wearing the artisan's outfit. However, the rate will be reduced when the harp becomes out of tune by at least 50%. This, coupled with the time taken to tune, gives a lower rate of roughly 60,000 experience per hour. While the Voice is active, harps also go out of tune at a much lower rate, meaning a greater rate of dust.
