Two high schoolers in the back of a school bus were discussing the current situation in the world, about how nobody cares about history, the world around them, the future, other human beings. They began talking of creating an island paradise in the Pacific ocean. They talked of how it would be clean, with a great educational system, friendly people, so on and so forth. Then, one of the boys had a dream. In his dream, the world came to a catastrophic end. It was a nuclear war. It was the year 2012, and the US, which was at war with Iran, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt, was suddenly declared war upon by North Korea and China. China launched its nuclear weapons, the US launched hers, and thus the war came to
- The Republic of Space Cuba was founded in early January, 2007, but did not become a nation until later that year. It was founded on the idea that the United States and China would go to war in April 2069. Plans are underway to launch the island into space in 2067.

| - The Republic of Space Cuba was founded in early January, 2007, but did not become a nation until later that year. It was founded on the idea that the United States and China would go to war in April 2069. Plans are underway to launch the island into space in 2067. The people of Space Cuba have a long history of leadership within alliances. Their leader, Ernesto Che Guevara, quickly became the chancellor of their first alliance, the Commonwealth of New England, or CNE. When CNE collapsed, Che and his ally the Minister of Silly Walks formed the Commonwealth, or TCW. About five months into TCW's life, inactivity was becoming a problem. Che and MoSW decided to declare war on another alliance to stir activity. When Che went to the other alliance to gather intel, he realized they were really cool people, and called off the attack. About a month later, the two alliances, the Commonwealth and the Commonwealth of Nations, merged, forming the United Commonwealth of Nations, or UCN. In April 2010, tensions within UCN were at a boiling point. Che had had enough, and posted his resignation on the UCN forums. He was followed by many UCN members, so the leadership closed the alliance. It was restarted by two members, whilst Che and several others founded Europa. Today, the people of Space Cuba reside safely within the bubble of protection offered by Europa, and they are here to stay. Space Cuba is a medium sized, mostly developed, and ancient nation at 1161 days old with citizens primarily of Persian ethnicity whose religion is Islam. Its technology is first rate and its citizens marvel at the astonishing advancements within their nation. Its citizens pay extremely high taxes and many despise their government as a result. The citizens of Space Cuba work diligently to produce Gold and Coal as tradable resources for their nation. It is an aggressive country that some say has an itch for war. It believes nuclear weapons are necessary for the security of its people. The military of Space Cuba has been positioned at all border crossings and is arresting all drug traffickers. Space Cuba allows its citizens to protest their government but uses a strong police force to monitor things and arrest lawbreakers. It has an open border policy, but in order for immigrants to remain in the country they will have to become citizens first. Space Cuba believes in the freedom of speech and feels that it is every citizen's right to speak freely about their government. The government gives whatever is necessary to help others out in times of crisis, even if it means hurting its own economy. Space Cuba will not make deals with another country that has a history of inhuman treatment of its citizens.

He chose Cuba of all the countries in the world because it is small, but large enough to support life for 30 years. He went on to talk of this new Cuba in Space, but the term was not created until January 30th, 2007, when a young Tyler Kimmel was talking about the idea on Wanksterbate.com and coined the term "Space Cuba". Space Cuba was born.
