| - Well, you know you're in love with someone when you care for that person more than you care for your other friends, you also feel attraction toward this person and you imagine a future next to this person. Whether you are aware or not that you're in love, the willingness to start a relationship should take part of this feeling too. You can love someone greatly but not want to commit for the rest of your life. Sometimes it is not a matter of not loving the person enough to start a life with him/her, it is more like most people are scared to be hurt in the future or to end a relationship that would have otherwise been wonderful had a couple not achieved deeper ties. Examples of this are marriage and pregnancy. Love is not the only thing you need to make that possible, you need to respect each other, have many things in common, want to spend the rest of your lives together, and last but not least; agree whether or not you both will enjoy being parents together. A baby can bring lots of sleepless nights, when one person can get in the other person's nerves. You need to know for sure that you can survive through this. It happens, the key is to be able to survive it. You JUST know. Love is when his or her happiness is essential to your own, and when your happiness is essential to their own as well. It is not jealous or possessive, it is protective and nurturing. Love is not words or thoughts..it is a verb. Love does not hurt. It is mutual. If you have to ask if you're in love, you're not. --Aetherchild if you feel butterflies in your stomach or if you feel any feelings you don't usually get and they make you feel good and you can truly say you love them more than any other of your friends and you want to put him/her first, then you probably are in love BUT when you are in a relationship and you have to ask yourself if you love him/her then it is probably a no! hope this helps! please answer some of my questions if you see them! Thank you xx MissSophie200
