The 23rd Infantry Division Ferrara was an infantry division of the Italian Army during World War II. The Ferrara was mobilized for war in June 1939 and took part in the invasions of Albania and the Greco-Italian War with the Italian 11th Army, XXV Corps. It was then stationed in Albania and Montenegro. After the Italian surrender to the Allies in September 1943. the Division surrendered to the Germans. Its men were drafted in Bari and in the Murge.
