Carcharocles angustidens is an extinct species of Mega-tooth shark belonging to the genus Carcharocles, and the direct ancestor to the Extinct Giant White shark (C. megalodon), and was the succeeding species of C. sokolovi. This shark lived during the Miocene - Pliocene epochs. Carcharocles angustidens teeth are noted for their triangular crowns and small side cusps that are fully serrated. The serrations are very sharp and very well pronounced.
