| - Anakin Skywalker was a male slave from Tatooine. He was freed by Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, who believed that Skywalker was The Chosen One (this was not so). While the Jedi High Council had forbid Skywalker to be trained as a Jedi, they decided that since Skywalker could be The Chosen One, he could be trained under Qui-Gon's apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Skywalker became powerful with the Force during the Clone Wars and went against the Jedi Code when he married Padmé Amidala, the Senator from Naboo and one of his closest allies. When Amidala became pregnant, Skywalker was desperate to saver her from his visions of death. He eventually turned to the dark side and turned to his closest friend, Chancellor Palpatine, who was really Darth Sidious, the Sith behind The Clone Wars. Skywalker became Darth Vader and helped Palpatine eliminate the Jedi from the Galaxy. In a lust for power, Vader had severely wounded Amidala, who attempted to turn him back. Kenobi dueled his former apprentice on Mustafar, which led into Vader being nearly burned to death by lava. Palpatine arrived on Mustafar and helped rebuild Darth Vader, by placing him in a life support system. Vader later killed Jedi Master Kento Marek, who was hiding on Kashyyyk with his son Galen. Galen was abducted by Vader and trained to be Vader's secret assassin, Starkiller. Vader sent the young Sith to eliminate Jedi that were hiding across the Galaxy. However, Vader had betrayed Starkiller in front of the Emperor, only to prove that Starkiller wasn't being used to overthrow Palpatine. The Dark Lord later tricked Starkiller into routing out the Empire's enemies into an army of Rebels. Starkiller, after being betrayed by Vader once more, went after the Rebels and was wounded heavily by the Emperor during the battle, which resulted in the escape of the Rebel leaders. While Starkiller was believed to be dead, Vader discovered that the rogue Sith was still alive and took him to Kamino. Marek was tricked by Vader, who told the confused Jedi that the real Starkiller was dead and that he was a clone of Marek. This was a lie, which resulted in Starkiller escaping Kamino and reuniting with his Rebel Alliance. Vader, in an attempt to lure Marek back to Kamino, hired the bounty hunter Boba Fett to kidnap Juno Eclipse, Marek's love interest, and bring her to Kamino. Marek later returned to Kamino with the Rebel fleet. A battle had insured, in which Vader attempted to defeat his former assassin, but with no success. Vader was later wounded heavily during the battle, after being defeated in an intense duel, which resulted in Eclipse's death. While the Rebels wanted to capture Vader and force him to reveal the Empire's secrets, Marek finally learned that he wasn't really a clone and that Vader had lied to him. Marek became corrupted by the Dark Side and struck down Vader. Marek then proceeded to defeat the Rebel Alliance, kill Palpatine, and take control of both The Empire and the Galaxy.
