After Skates left, the boy backed-up his copy of the file, ensuring he would have a version when the police crushed Skates' disk. With this information, the boy gave the details back to Skates and ensured the corrupt officers were all put on trial. He was later interviewed by CNN and other media outlets, stating "my pop says it pays to be organised".
