  • The episode begins at the Wagassierbon. Patitchi has just started her new job as Wagassiertchi's assistant chef. The Wagassierbon is crowded with plenty of customers. Mametchi and his friends look in from outside, and note that Patitchi seems quite enthusiastic. Then Pianitchi notices something. A few blocks from the Wagassierbon, there is a mysterious building under construction. The group wonders what it could be. That night, a storm rages outside. Patitchi and Wagassiertchi are still at the Wagassierbon, cleaning up after the customers have left. Wagassiertchi thanks Patitchi for helping out. Suddenly, a mysterious visitor enters the building. Wagassiertchi politely informs her that the Wagassierbon is closed for the day, but the visitor says that she isn't a customer. She only wishes to give a greeting to Wagassiertchi. Patitchi wonders who she is. Then Wagassiertchi has a sudden realization. He exclaims that she's Lady Babatchi, a very popular chef who is known as 'The Queen of Chocolates'. The next day, Patitchi makes tea for Mametchi and his friends at the Music Cafe. She seems disheartened, and her friends ask her what's wrong. Patitchi recalls what happened last night. Lady Babatchi told Wagassiertchi and Patitchi that she plans to build her own pastry shop in Dream Town called the Sugoi Diva. Mametchi and his friends are all surprised. Then Memetchi voices her excitement about the Sugoi Diva, and Kuchipatchi chimes in and says that he can't wait to eat the shop's chocolates. Kiraritchi gets their attention, and tells them that now's not the time for that. Mametchi says that this could be a bad situation. He explains that the new shop could create competition for the Wagassierbon. Patitchi is worried about how the Wagassierbon will fair against the Sugoi Diva. Later that day, Wagassiertchi and Patitchi are stunned to see that the Sugoi Diva has already finished construction. Lady Babatchi announces the opening of the Sugoi Diva to a large, excited crowd of Tamagotchis waiting outside. Meanwhile, the Wagassierbon is completely deserted. Patitchi and Wagassiertchi wait outside of the Wagassierbon, but it looks like no one is coming. Then Decoratchi runs up to them and calls to Patitchi. Wagassiertchi happily welcomes her, but Decoratchi says she's going to the Sugoi Diva. This leaves Wagassiertchi dumbfounded, and Patitchi is embarrassed. Decoratchi says she is very excited to eat the chocolates, and she hopes that Patitchi can join her later. Then she continues on her way to the Sugoi Diva. Wagassiertchi has become gloomy, so Patitchi tries to cheer him up. A pair of Tamagotchis are making their way towards the Wagassierbon. Patitchi alerts Wagassiertchi and tells him that they have customers. Wagassiertchi perks up. The two Tamagotchis turn out to be carrying bags from the Sugoi Diva, and they are conversing about how great the chocolates are. They walk past the Wagassierbon, and Wagassiertchi falls back into a gloomy state. Patitchi anxiously tries to encourage him, but it doesn't work. However, Patitchi is resolved to reclaim the Wagassierbon's popularity. Afterwards, Patitchi goes back to the Music Cafe and informs Mametchi and his friends about what happened. Patitchi tells them that she tried handing out flyers and advertising the Wagassierbon on television, but neither one worked. Everyone muses about what to do. Mamapianitchi brings drinks to the table. She overhears their conversation and suggests that they go spy on the Sugoi Diva and see find out makes it so popular. The gang thinks this is a good idea, and they agree to do it. The gang goes to the Sugoi Diva. Patitchi remarks that it's packed with customers just like yesterday. Mametchi declares that it's time for them to begin spying. Everyone puts on spy glasses and sneaks inside. They are instantly amazed by the Sugoi Diva's interior. There are many incredible features, such as a large chocolate fountain, a chocolate house, and chocolate parade floats. Everyone has a good time. They all have souvenir hats and bags of treats when they leave. They talk about how much fun they had. On their way back, they realize they are next to the Wagassierbon, and Wagassiertchi is waiting outside. They all quickly hide their hats and bags and laugh nervously. They announce that their spy mission is complete. Wagassiertchi still seems dejected. Inside the Wagassierbon, everyone tries to brainstorm. Mametchi and friends note that the Wagassierbon and the Sugoi Diva both have delicious sweets. They decide that the difference must be that the Sugoi Diva is more entertaining. Mametchi explains to Wagassiertchi that the Sugoi Diva has all sorts of fun features inside. The gang thinks that the Wagassierbon can become popular again if they incorporate more fun features. First Mametchi recalls the chocolate fountain, and tries to create a red bean jam fountain. Pianitchi remarks that nothing is coming out, and Mametchi wonders if it is broken. Then a small explosion occurs and a bunch of red smoke comes out of the fountain, startling everyone. They move on to another idea. Himespetchi tries to make an edible house like the chocolate house, but when Wagassiertchi gets close to it, it collapses. Finally the Kira Kira Girls try to practice for a parade, but when Kiraritchi trips they all knock into each other and fall down. Wagassiertchi starts to think that maybe it's hopeless. Suddenly Lady Babatchi enters the building. She cackles and says that it looks like the end for the Wagassierbon. The others are taken aback by her attitude. She says she has no love for sweets or chocolates, and muses that love will only lead to quarrels. Mametchi wonders what she means, but Lady Babatchi is suddenly uncomfortable. She says they should hurry up and close the Wagassierbon, and then she leaves. Memetchi and Himespetchi are upset about her rude behavior, but Wagassiertchi tells them not to mind it. He thanks them for their efforts, but says that he's already given up. The others finally start to lose their will as well. Yumemitchi and Kiraritchi both rush outside and use their Yume Kira Bags to transform. After the transformation, they are wearing Japanese festival outfits. The Yumecantchi gives them a watermelon. Kiraritchi starts playing a Japanese drum while Yumemitchi waves a fan and chants. This gets the attention of the others and they come outside to see what's going on. Yumecantchi hands out watermelon slices to everyone. Himespetchi likes the rhythm that Kiraritchi is making with the drum, and she starts playing along with her Smapi. Mametchi comments that they complement each other. Yumecantchi sprinkles a bit of salt on the watermelon slices. Wagassiertchi says that it tastes good. He suddenly gets a flash of inspiration. He rushes back inside the Wagassierbon and goes to the kitchen. Patitchi follows Wagassiertchi and watches him. He asks Patitchi to hand him a bowl on the counter. She is surprised to see that it has chocolate in it. Wagassiertchi says that he realized earlier that the secret lies with combinations. The two instruments playing simultaneously and the watermelon with salt were both combinations. He has decided to mix chocolate with his own sweets. He gets another bowl that has bean paste in it. He mixes the chocolate with dough, and rolls the bean paste into it to make chocolate buns filled with bean paste. Patitchi is delighted to see Wagassiertchi regain his passion. Wagassiertchi asks Patitchi to add the finishing touch with her own cream topping. Together they finish the treat. Wagassiertchi and Patitchi bring a bunch of their desserts outside and invite everyone to try them. A lot of customers try them and like them, and Wagassiertchi comments that he and Patitchi worked together to make them. Lady Babatchi suddenly breaks through the crowd and makes her way to Wagassiertchi. She sees his dessert and scoffs, saying there's no way it can taste good. Wagassiertchi confidently asks her to try one. She tentatively accepts one and takes a bite. After a few moments she says that the chocolate in it isn't good enough, and that it would be much better if it had used her chocolate. She says that tomorrow she'll send them some of her chocolate. Wagassiertchi realizes that she actually wants to help, and it makes him happy. Lady Babatchi leaves, and the gang congratulates Wagassiertchi. Later that night at the Sugoi Diva, Lady Babatchi muses in her room. She looks at a photo of herself when she was younger with another Tamagotchi called Kakinotanetchi. She regrets that they fought with each other in the past, and decides that it's time to make up. She calls him on the phone, and when he picks up, her cold exterior melts to show her true feelings. The next day, Lady Babatchi is noticeably happy as she announces to her customers that her shop is collaborating with the Wagassierbon. Both the Sugoi Diva and the Wagassierbon have lots of customers, and everyone loves the treats. The two shops have boosted the other's business. The gang is happy that everything worked out. Afterwards, Pianitchi mentions to the rest of the gang that Lady Babatchi is getting married, which shocks them.
