Fantastic Four is a 2005 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics comic Fantastic Four which follows the origins of the superhero team. It was directed by Tim Story, and released by 20th Century Fox. This is the second live-action Fantastic Four movie to be filmed. The previous attempt, a B-movie produced by Roger Corman to retain the film rights, was never officially released. A sequel was released in 2007. The budget of the film was $100 million and the film grossed $335,100,000 worldwide with $160,100,000 coming from North America and $175,000,000 overseas.
