The RG470 went through several iterations throughout the years. For this second iteration production was moved from Japan to Korea and several changes were introduced over the first model, including new pickups, bridge and neck joint. This Korean RG470 features a basswood body bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. Components include a double locking tremolo bridge, Ibanez Infinity pickups in an HSH configuration and a locking nut. This model also gets the sleeker All Access Neck Joint along with all the other RG models for 1994.
