The Kentucky State Police was an organization headed by Luther Bliss. A secret police force for the U.S., it cracked down on socialists and Confederate sympathizers to "facilitate" Kentucky's re-entry as U.S state during and after the Great War. President Al Smith disbanded the Kentucky State Police shortly after taking office in 1937.
