| - Through centuries of practice & study, Saiyan have developed an innovative use for their Z-cells with the skill of transformation. In states of heightened emotions, Z-cells become extremely susceptible to mental commands & imagery from the Saiyan's cerebral cortex. Exploiting this behavior, the host can influence their Z-cells enough to initiate a special transformation into a hulking, humanoid beast. The host can maintain this transformation for as long as they can maintain their emotional charge, but can exceed this limitation with constant practice. This behemoth-like form applies every ability that the host has presently acquired, resulting in a physiology with an radical assortment of unusual traits and abilities. This is believed to be the Z-cell's "ultimate enhancement" as every adaptation and ability is expressed fully in this colossal bestial form. This transformation also suggests the possibility of a Z-cell brainwave network, as every Saiyan transforms with consistent base physiological characteristics, such as the colossal constitution and likeness, independent of the host's influence.
- Saiyans have been able to outmatch the various wild life and denizens of their planet due to their Z-cells. Z-cells enable them to quickly adapt to various situations and threats via enhanced attributes and/or adapt new abilities entirely to match or surpass a threat.
While the nature of this ability is reactive, and may produce spontaneous adaptations, Saiyans can influence the specifics of their adaptations during manifestation through Zenkai Mastery. And once an adaptation is acquired, the host must regularly utilize these abilities. Consequences include acquired abilities becoming less effective or being lost entirely and needing to be refreshed.
