The RG410 is one of only a handful of RG models with a single humbucking pickup. It's also one of only a few RG models produced with a 22-fret neck. It had the sharp-edged body style which distinguishes it from the older Roadstar body. The RG410 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret fingerboard with dot inlays. Components included a single Ibanez humbucking pickup mounted askew at the bridge and an Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut. The controls consist of a volume pot and a Duo-Sound coil-tap toggle for the pickup.

  • The RG410 is one of only a handful of RG models with a single humbucking pickup. The 1986 RG410 has the original swoopy Roadstar headstock shape and the headstock is painted to match the body. For 1987 it gets a black headstock in the new, pointier RG-style shape. The RG420 is a similar model with a second humbucker mounted at the neck. The RG425 is another similar model with a second humbucker mounted directly beside the bridge pickup. The RG410 was discontinued after 1987.
